Agri-Mart was initiated at 191 Old Hope Road as the Community Development Promotions Outlet and was later renamed as present.
It was originally set up to serve as a distribution centrefor the products coming out of the Social Services and other community group projects, however in recent years it has evolved as a direct-to-consumer retail outlet, as the same time assisting various Jamaican-based suppliers to market their products, while being advised on the necessary improvements.
The Mart has served many such processors over the years. Through this medium, producers are advised on product development,standardization, and labeling and packaging.
